2027 PTIN renewal is underway and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is urging all tax professionals to renew online at IRS.gov/taxprofessionals/ptin-requirements-for-tax-return-preparers. All current PTINs will expire on December 31, 2026, and the non-refundable fee to renew or obtain a PTIN is $18.75.
