Great news! SMS text messaging is now available as a method for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Previously, MFA required an authenticator app. With this update, you can now choose to receive your authentication code via text message during login, offering a more convenient option without compromising security.
You must Opt-In to receive SMS for MFA. The steps are included in the following articles:
– Drake Hub: KB18917
– Drake User Manager: KB17861
What This Means for You:
- More Flexibility: Choose SMS or an authenticator app—whatever works best for your workflow.
- Stronger Security: MFA helps protect sensitive client and business data, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
- Easy Setup: Enable SMS MFA for all your web applications in just a few clicks.
We encourage all users to enable MFA if they haven’t already. It’s a simple step that goes a long way in safeguarding your tax practice.
